Each boot is hand-sewn and hand-welted in White’s storied construction tradition, remaining in the hands of a single bootmaker until bottoming. Horween’s Waxed Flesh withstands the daily rigors of the most wicked conditions, produced by applying a color-dyed wax finish to the roughout side of Horween’s Chromexcel. This leather offers excellent water resistance and develops a rugged patina as the waxed surface wears away, revealing the sand-colored flesh side underneath. The result is a collection of heritage boots that blend function and style, built upon archival-inspired designs, meticulous specifications, and patina potential that rewards every scuff and scrape. White's x DR Waxed Flesh Cruiser 350 Pack
Our Waxed Flesh Cruiser 350 pack brings White’s classic 6” work boot pattern into two versatile colorways, each ready for a lifetime of wear. The 350 Cruiser, with origins dating back to the 1930s, features a lace-to-toe 6” height that Otto White developed for loggers seeking a more flexible, low-cut alternative to taller logging boots. In these Division Road editions, we use Horween’s Black and Brown Waxed Flesh roughout leathers, which start with a matte finish and will evolve over time. This durable leather is paired with contrasting Natural Chromexcel detailing, from the fully gusseted tongue to the single-row hand welt. Further enhancing the reinforced workwear specifications, heavy-duty khaki thread for the upper coordinates with a natural leather midsole and half-slip (for added stability), all resting atop a Vibram 2060 cushioned wedge sole. This combination offers excellent flexibility and all-purpose comfort, equally suited for trailhead trekking and downtown dives. Finishing touches include brass eyelets for a heritage look, a leather back pull loop, and matching rawhide and flat waxed laces. The Waxed Flesh Semi-Dress 375 pack showcases our high-stature version of White’s iconic Semi-Dress boot in two dramatic Black Waxed Flesh and Cinnamon Waxed Flesh styles, designed to withstand and subtly stand out. Both the Black and Cinnamon Waxed Flesh editions unify function and style, utilizing Horween’s heavily waxed roughout leather, which will develop a rich, multi-layered patina over time. The tonal configuration results in a celebrated make-up ready for anything, featuring a Natural CXL hand-welt, a matching natural leather midsole, and a block-logger heel, all delivering a classic work-boot look and supportive base. The outsole incorporates White’s signature Half Composition split sole, which combines a v-bar forefoot and rubber heel, ensuring reliable traction and durability across urban streets and treacherous terrain.
