White’s Boots x Division Road Collaborations
This week, we’re bringing a full restock on our steady MP Shermans that leverage our limited batch Charles F. Stead leathers exclusively sourced by Division Road in clean configurations to showcase the brilliance of these tannage recipes and hides. Using the more modern MP pattern and less common Northwest and 5050 Lasts in our signature E width, the Flint Waxed Kudu MP Sherman has a street-industrial vibe while the New Rosewood Unicorn MP Sherman has a military-meets-worksite character, both presenting a refined take on White’s hand-welted stitchdown construction. Built like Sherman tanks and balanced with a streamlined facade, snap up these collaborations swiftly as they’re sure to fly out the door and won’t be returning for reissue.
CFS New Rosewood Unicorn MP Sherman
The golden-rust Unicorn leather on this MP Sherman is mythical, boasting unique grain characteristics in flexible Scandinavian Elk hides engineered for durability in the wild, with a matte sanded grain in a pull-up that will patina subtly and evolve over time. What has become one of the most treasured tannages in a timeless color profile, this New Rosewood MP Sherman is formed on the 5050 Last that has a sleek dress shaped toe and work boot backbone with comfort, in our standard E Width for a broad variety of feet to enjoy its balanced character. Allowing the leather and craftsmanship to communicate this boot’s rare nature, we kept a clean configuration with warm brass eyelets, a single row Natural CXL hand-welt tonally complemented with a Natural midsole, and the Split Commando sole with a straight edged block heel for traction when trekking the woods or striding down the street. Per usual, this MP Sherman is made with White’s top-tier construction that rests in a single bootmaker’s skilled hands through bottoming resulting in an elegant, tricked out boot with endless styling potential.
CFS Flint Waxed Kudu MP Sherman
In a rare dye lot, the Flint Waxed Kudu is a warm-based charcoal with a varied character derived from wild antelope hides that have a tight, pebbled, and striated grain enhanced with scars from the terrain. The hides are sanded and waxed to a matte finish with pull-up qualities culminating in a refined, robust leather. This flexible and durable leather with intense natural character is formed on the Northwest Last designed as a low-heeled, comfortable work boot Last with a round toe and moderate profile that works for a variety of feet in our signature E width. This make-up is completed with an integrated pull-loop back-stay for full functionality, nickel eyelets to coordinate with the grey-based leather, and a Natural CXL hand-welt tonally matched to the Natural Leather midsole all atop the Vibram 4014 Christy sole for a city and workshop look with wet-dry and indoor-outdoor utility. With White’s all-leather build including shank and counter and single row hand-welted stitchdown construction, these White’s Sherman’s come with craft-swagger and will form to the foot with flex and grace through hard duty.
