Our Division Road journey has become a destination at The Fields where cultivation, curation, and craft combine. Set along the Monticello Wine Trail in the rolling hills of Albemarle County amidst the backdrop of the Shenandoah mountains, we’ve developed this location to foster special residency events with our makers to include Made to Orders, season previews, educational presentations, and exclusive receptions. We are pleased to present a calendar of events with some of our signature brands, so coordinate your excursion to this extraordinary region for a robust connection to your favorite creators and this magical place. Come immerse yourself in a unique experience to deeply engage the goods, explore the fields and forest, and commune with fellow heritage enthusiasts.

FALL-WINTER 2025 RESIDENCY | DEHEN 1920, FREENOTE CLOTH, NICKS HANDMADE BOOTS & FOX BROTHERS | October 11th & 12th

We’re back for our annual fantastical festival, bigger and better than ever, featuring three top U.S. producers – Dehen 1920, Freenote Cloth, and Nicks Handmade Boots – along with the finest wool cloth maker, Fox Brothers from the U.K., offering an exclusive custom shopping experience at The Fields on October 11th and 12th.

Don’t miss this rare chance to create your very own one-of-a-kind Made-to-Order items while exploring unreleased collaborations, gaining in-depth product knowledge, and connecting with others who share a passion for quality goods. This event will be the highlight of the season and an exceptional opportunity to connect, learn, and create alongside the top figures of America’s leading heritage manufacturing brands, in partnership with the UK’s finest wool cloth producer.

Additionally, this year we’re showcasing an immersive Central Virginia artisan fair featuring our local provisioners and partners. Craft collaborators Maja Sandvang Ceramics and Join or Die Handmade Knives will present exclusive collections, Made-to-Orders, and demonstrations. For the epicureans, Chef Matt Greene will bring the heat with an elevated cookout, while Blenheim Vineyards and Silver Hand Meadery pour libations.

Book a Made-to-Order feature with a specific brand for an exclusive appointment. Made-to-Order appointments are per brand, require a deposit, and serve as an RSVP.

For those who wish to attend, shop, preview collections, explore the crafts and presentations, and engage in MTOs if time allows, RSVP to attend one or both days.

Eastwood Farm and Winery, with resident Chef Andrew Partridge, will provide a wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres pairing, while Maja Sandvang will present a special ceramics collection.

Batteaux, Boots, and Blenheim | June 28th

Join Division Road for an exciting Client Excursion with the James River Batteau Company and Blenheim Vineyards on Saturday, June 28th. Born from a passion for batteauing and a desire to share this bygone experience, James River Batteau Co. offers a two-hour private cruise to learn about the history of the James River and the batteau. In between adventures, stop at The Fields for exclusive access to unreleased products and collaborations in the Showroom, along with a catered lunch and coffee from our local favorite, Petite MarieBette. Finally, conclude the day with a reserved Wine Tasting at Blenheim Vineyards to experience their minimalist approach to viniculture and winemaking. Connect with DRA members who share a passion for quality goods and experiences while exploring the CVA region on an excursion of River and Wine.

The time has come again for us to invite the Division Road faithful to join us at The Fields in peak Fall season for our upcoming Residency on September 20th and 21st. We’re pleased to announce that MotivMfg and White’s will be offering a completely custom shopping experience for a rare opportunity to create your own Made-to-Order goods while checking out unreleased collaborations, diving deep into product knowledge, and connecting with others who share the same passion for quality goods. This will be the event of the season and an extraordinary opportunity to connect, learn, and create with the main players of your favorite makers from across the globe.

Book a Made-to-Order with a specific brand for an exclusive appointment. Made-to-Order appointments are per brand, require a deposit, and serve as an RSVP. Back and bigger than ever, we invite our loyal patrons, crafty collectors, and Division Road faithful to join us at The Fields this fall for our upcoming Brand Residency — including four all-time shop and fan favorites joining us from near and far. We’re pleased to announce that De Bonne Facture, Gitman Vintage, Tricker’s, and EasyMoc will be setting up a very special kind of shop at Division Road over Veterans Day weekend, November 10th-12th. Exclusive features and rare opportunities abound — create your own Made-to-Order goods, preview and pre-order unreleased collaborations and capsule collections, engage in demonstrations and topic presentations from the heads of these manufacturing brands, and chat it up with this amazing cast of international characters at a private dinner. This will be the event of the season and an extraordinary opportunity to connect, learn, and create with the main players of your favorite brands from across the globe.

Meet Eric Kinney, head of the White’s organization who went from Bootmaker to CEO, in this exclusive opportunity to create one of a kind Made-to-Order’s from sample hides and unreleased leathers, get a true fitting by a White’s specialist, rare access to pre-order new, unseen Division Road collaborations, and engage in a one-of-a-kind Sample Sale.
