The Tricker's x Division Road Horween Carolina Brown Tumbled Cavalier Derby Shoe is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a premium Horween hard-wearing full-weight leather upper paired with the elegant Ridgeway lug sole. This Division Road exclusive style utilizes a limited batch Carolina Brown Cavalier leather by Horween®, made with a process similar to the nearly century-old Chromexcel vegetable and chrome combination re-tannage recipe that uses hot stuffed and waxed techniques to produce a leather with flexibility, durability, and enhanced pull-up qualities. The hides are then tumbled to provide a tightened grain, natural feel, and soft finish. The Bourton Derby is one of Tricker's original brogue derby shoes and features the signature medallion and wingtip design with refined brogue and punching details throughout. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe, and exquisite English finishing. This Bourton Brogue Derby's more robust silhouette is achieved by using the 4497s Last, which creates a substantial yet elegant design that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a classic boardroom-to-backwoods-focused shoe that combines country footwear build-quality with a contemporary form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. Tricker’s UK sizing is listed and as a general sizing rule, we suggest you select (1) size down from a common US boot and shoe, or (1.5) sizes down from a US sneaker to the listed UK size. The 4497s is a fairly common Last with an accommodative width and corresponds to various foot types as long as the right size is obtained.
