Collaborations with Tricker’s and Dehen 1920
This week, we have a collection of collaborations and developments that reinforce our approach with two of our closest manufacturing brand partners. These pieces made with Tricker’s and Dehen 1920 are unique in every facet, from featuring patterns we developed and revised, sourcing premium limited batch materials, and advancing entirely new capabilities. Dehen x Division Road is at it again as we dipped into our archive of Fox Brothers cloths for some fresh outerwear made in the finest woolen mill and the second edition to a multi-year project pushing the boundaries of vintage knitting machines for a mastery of mélange. Then, the Tricker’s Division comes with leathers not found on English footwear outside of ours in two exclusive pattern evolutions to present something definitively global in sourcing and street styling.
One of the standards in menswear is to take an existing style, use a different material from the seasonal collection, and call it a collaboration. While we will use this method sometimes, Division Road collaborations go much further by adjusting fit and body markers while intensely editing the details, pocketing, trims, finishes, and changing the materials. We often directly source materials at a refinement and quality level usually absent within our brands’ networks, or we develop the fabric and hides directly with the mill or tannery. Rather than present collab-labeled pieces that could have found themselves in the brand’s regular collection, Division Road channels our knowledge about materials and design to present pieces that would not exist otherwise.
Tricker’s x Division Road
We bring you complex twists on the traditional to launch into fall with a big British boot drop. Leveraging Tricker’s multi-century-old manufacturing and the finest hides, we have next-level menswear and wardrobe foundations.
Our Super Monkey Boot comes in a new two-tone Chromexcel configuration using a rare Espresso CXL for the upper, while Natural CXL provides a warm contrast for the toe and tongue to hallmark vintage sportswear in a new form. Designed to patina tonally, we enhanced this design with brass eyelets and ecru laces that coordinate with the natural leather reverse Flexi-Welt and featherweight Vibram Moreflex sole. Constructed to be a cross between a welted boot and sneaker in a city-to-country-appropriate piece, this Super Monkey may be our best yet.
Taking an American-tanned leather to a definitively English make, the Natural CXL Eaton Boot provides a novel take on a Tricker’s icon. With brogue detailing on Horween’s most famous undyed hide, this Eaton will provide styling ease for those looking to reflect vintage to modern menswear inspirationally. This piece will look good with anything and go everywhere. It is formed on the 4497s Last that balances dress lines with a workwear fit and is finished with brass eyelets, our signature pull loop, and a natural leather Barbour storm welt and midsole atop a proportionally and conditionally equipped Ridgeway sole.
Pushing the boundaries on style reconstructions, we developed the James Boot by using the basis of the Stow Boot and stripped it down to its pattern elements. Combined with a narrow triple-stitched upper, this James comes in a limited batch of Jambo Waxed Kudu from CF Stead with a warmed black coal color, matte finish, and notable grain characteristics. We gave this style a casual twist with natural upper thread to enhance the pattern evolution, which tonally corresponds to a natural Barbour leather storm welt and midsole, brass eyelets, and is completed with a Ridgeway Sole.

Fox Brothers® cloths are not found in the modern-heritage menswear sphere. With costs reserved for the finest tailoring and luxury houses in the world, only Division Road dares to dig into the vast collection of loom-to-order cloths made by Britain’s best. As our manufacturing brands produce at quality levels lost long ago by fashion, we see nothing absurd in sourcing these types of materials for workwear-level productions. Thus, we sourced some Fox Brothers Tweed Twill for two stunning outerwear options with the Slate Grey Check Flyers Club Bomber for an avant-garde lean to a military inspiration, and the Amber Brown Windowpane Tweed & Antique Brandy Varsity Jacket that gives a gentleman’s approach to sportswear.
Several years ago, we had the idea of using Dehen’s vintage cone machines and playing with the math to create mélange combinations with a planned irregularity. Dehen laboriously and graciously set out to test and work with weights, distances, and yarn combinations to make these striking, textured, and tonally distinct knits. Using our baseline exclusive patterns, we bring you the Shawl Cardigan in Dark Navy and Charcoal for a cool-style guy meets Mr. Rogers, the Collegiate Cardigan in Brown and Dark Tan for a new thrifter meets mad professor, and the Black and Brown Crewneck for causal luxury in authentic heritage.
