Description

The Tricker's x Division Road Horween Mocha Vienna Bison Monty Chukka is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a premium Horween hard-wearing leather upper and a natural leather Barbour welt paired with a Goodyear Commando sole. This Division Road exclusive style utilizes heavy Bison hides, vegetable tanned by Horween® with the same extracts and traditional recipe as Cordovan with a high oil and fat content, an aniline finish to retain the hide’s natural feel and pronounced grain characteristics, and is grain side single strike dyed in this rich Mocha brown to allow for a deep patina that highlights the innate qualities of the leather. The Monty Chukka is a Division Road adaptation of the new Tricker's Evedon style, turning back the clock with clean-lined refinement via a higher quarter and integrated counter pattern to yield a simple style where the hearty build and natural character of the leather are of primary focus. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe, and exquisite English finishing. This heritage-inspired Monty Chukka's robust silhouette is achieved by using the 4497s Last, which creates a substantial yet elegant design that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a simple boardroom-to-boondocks focused boot that combines country footwear build-quality with a contemporary form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. With tonal brown eyelets and a natural leather Barbour storm welt and midsole atop a British-made Goodyear commando sole, this chukka takes a British classic to refined heights while acting as a foundation for any ensemble. As England's oldest shoemaker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot, and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.

Founded in 1829 by Joseph Tricker, Tricker’s is the longest established shoemaker in England approaching 200 years of quality footwear production and is recognized as the maker of choice for heavy country boots. Barltrop propelled a second key innovation at Tricker’s when he introduced the Goodyear Welting machine at the turn of the 20th...
