The IHJ-130-BLK-NP Reversible Tanker Jacket is an improved, modern version of the old-school military original, produced in an 8 oz. Cotton/Nylon Blend Duck Cloth for the Black exterior side and an 8 oz. Polyester/Cotton Twill for the Olive side, providing two configurations with a new-vintage appeal. This battle-ready piece is inspired by WWII Armored Tank Unit jackets that became popular amongst servicemen across various military branches and is an elevated re-design for a go-to option that will serve you well in spring through fall. The Duck and Twill cloths are fashioned after military-grade fabrics, milled in Japan to provide durability, flexibility, and a refined finish. The Tanker Jacket is improved from the military original with a modern cut and set-in sleeves to allow for various layering configurations, featuring wide welt hand pockets on the Black side and vertical welt chest and patch flap snap pockets on the Olive side. With an above military grade reversible zipper, reproduction wide ribbing for the cuffs and hem, a collar that stands up or lays down depending on the desired styling, and felled seams and chainstitched construction throughout, this piece provides all the necessary heritage provenance and then some. Iron Heart Outerwear sizing is graded in small increments. The Reversible Tanker runs true to Iron Heart sizing. To accommodate layering, consider going one size up from your common Iron Heart size, or the larger size of your range. For a tailored fit or to wear with just a base layer, consider going with your normal size or the smaller of your Iron Heart size range.
