The IHJ-129-BRN Rider's Jacket in Brown Horsehide is an improved, old-school classic produced in Japanese Horsehide Leather from a small batch tannery in Himeji, the tanning capital of Japan. It is crafted by Four Speed Japan exclusively for Iron Heart to be a robust riding piece appropriate as casual outerwear with a new-vintage appeal. Inspired by classic moto jackets with a point collar, zipped pocketing, and gusseted cuffs, it is updated with a slightly longer body and back shoulder gussets for a functional, modern style piece with endless utility. This Japanese Horsehide is vegetable tanned with a natural core and pigment dyed on the top-grain to provide a leather that will dramatically patina with tonal shades of brown and reveal the beautiful hide through heavy wear. This Rider's Jacket is fully lined with a refined cotton canvas and has signature welted and zipped pocketing for the chest and lower slash pockets, and two internal snapped "gun pockets" for secure retention. Completed with a military-grade two-way zipper for the front placket, zipped sleeves and rolled seams throughout complement this dutiful and durable horsehide leather. Iron Heart Outerwear sizing is graded in small increments. The 129-J runs on the small side of Iron Heart sizing and is made with a leather that will conform but not stretch over the long term with regular use. Consider going with larger of your size range in Iron Heart or the next size up.
