Being true to the originals with a utilitarian evolution, this Cargo Short features a medium-weight, dutiful 7 oz. sanforized and once-washed 50% Cotton 50% Nylon Blended Ripstop cloth loomed in Japan as a box weave with reinforcement box cords to prevent the cloth from tearing. This fabric — with roots in military and outdoor garments — comes with a unique hydrophobic treatment that provides water resistance and quick drying to yield a lightweight, breathable, and durable fabric with a balanced structure and drape that will perform in a variety of conditions like hiking, camping, and beach-going activities. The comfortably modern-meets-classic cut cargo short will match today's lifestyle for the gent who lives his history in the present. Built for the motorcycle community and over-engineered to start, Iron Heart tests the limits of what can be artfully woven and sewn. The 736-BRN Cargo Short runs true to Iron Heart sizing, and we suggest going down 0-1 sizes from your Actual Waist Measurement (Body). Made with a sanforized and once-washed fabric, most shrinkage is removed. This is a static material that will not measurably stretch.
