The Iron Heart IHSH-390-BLU Western is a heavyweight, reinforced piece produced in a once-washed 9 oz. Japanese Selvedge Unbrushed Flannel that's appropriate for year-round use. A bold, large-scale American check with deep indigo on a white field with blue and yellow accents is an updated and versatile pattern in a traditional workwear palette. Extremely dark rope-dyed indigo yarns, designed to fade from an almost black to shades of blue, are woven with reactive dyed accents designed to stay true in color to convey a layered patina and workshop class. Leveraging the signature Iron Heart Western pattern of a slim fit based on the 1926 original, this shirt is perfectly proportioned in length to be worn untucked for modern, vintage-styled grit. Iron Heart Shirting sizing is graded in small increments. The 390-BLU runs true to Iron Heart sizing and is made with a once-washed, unbrushed flannel fabric. With regular use, one can expect up to .5" of shrinkage in the chest over the long term.
