White’s x Division Road Collaborations

For over a century, White’s Boots has maintained the uncompromising ethos of a rare bootmaking tradition, crafting a truly hand-grade work boot that is hand-lasted, hand-welted, and hand-sewn, built one pair at a time by craftspeople whose skills take years to develop. In an era dominated by mechanized production and marketing myths, White’s remains one of the world’s last practitioners of this kind of hand-assembled work boot, crafted by a single bootmaker from the upper to the bottoming.

With this release, we commemorate the White’s lineage through two Lace-to-Toe Cutter collaborations that refine the maker’s legendary handmade design into Division Road signatures. These collabs are based on the original 1920s toe-lace logger patterns pioneered by Otto White, created for loggers and linemen who needed to precisely dial in the fit of their footwear during 12-hour shifts, injuries, swelling, unpredictable weather, and rough terrain. A century later, that utility still matters.

In the modern footwear landscape, hand-lasting and hand-welting have nearly disappeared. Machines are used for welting and stitchdown construction, and while top makers skillfully manipulate and craft with these machines, such production methods cannot replicate the adaptability and re-craftability of a hand-sewn build. With White’s, the insole, midsole, welt, and upper are physically shaped and assembled by human hands, creating a boot that molds more closely to the wearer’s anatomy. The LTT Cutter collaboration highlights this rarity.

These LTT Cutter collaborations are built on the Northwest Last, featuring a moderate volume, a classic round toe, and a hooked anatomical shape. White’s trademark Arch-Ease leather shank, channeled insole, and multi-paneled upper provide the rebuildable architecture that has long been a hallmark of White’s boots. For Division Road, we elevated White’s tradition with our signature approach, featuring a Natural CXL hand-welt that complements the natural-finished leather midsole, along with the lightweight, all-weather comfort of the Vibram 2060 industrial walking outsole. The result is a boot that captures the stance and longevity of a true Northwest workhorse yet wears with an ease suited for daily city trekking.

White’s x DR Brown CXL LTT Cutter

A heritage leather from Horween, Brown CXL is the original pull-up hide—flexible, durable, and deeply saturated on the surface with a natural core that reveals brighter undertones as it ages. Scuffs, stress points, and wear marks create a lived-in narrative unique to the wearer, pairing beautifully with the natural welt and midsole for a boot that grows richer with every mile.

White’s x DR Cinnamon Waxed Flesh LTT Cutter

Produced using a technique akin to Chromexcel but flipped to the roughout side, Cinnamon Waxed Flesh is coated with dyed waxes during tanning for weather resistance. Over time, abrasion reveals the lighter sand-colored roughout underneath, creating a dynamic patina that combines rugged utility with textural depth. Like all waxed flesh, it thrives in harsh environments and rewards heavy use.
