The Cream Japanese Cotton/Linen Dobby Stripe Button Down from Gitman Vintage is made from a lightweight 87% Cotton and 13% Linen blend jacquard cloth using dyed, slub yarns for a textured multi-dimensional and tonal stripe pattern. The result is a modern iteration of a vintage-inspired shirt for a warm-weather formal-to-casual style staple. Loomed in Japan, this refined 3.5 oz. Dobby fabric has a dynamic pattern created from several textured and tonal stripe patterns for a unique composition with drape that will evolve through repeated use and washes. This shirt comes in our modern short-length button-down collar style and is replete with Gitman's original details like chalk buttons, a locker loop, and a final horizontal buttonhole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the new modern slim fit with a slightly less dramatic hem sweep and straighter body as a variation to the signature fit that remains the same tailored "just right" cut for most body types. Gitman Vintage shirts are classic, simple, original, and have a casual sophistication, making them a standard wardrobe piece for many well-dressed men. We are unique in our offerings of Gitman Vintage by neck sizing for all you gents between alpha sizes; you now have the opportunity for a perfectly fitting Gitman right out of the box.
