The Japanese Summerweight Denim Button Down in Black from Gitman Vintage is made from an all-season, medium-weight, 100% Cotton denim that's been washed for a soft, structured drape in dark charcoal that will continue to fade and evolve with repeated wearing and washing. Loomed in Japan, this rare spring-summer shirting weight 5 oz. Denim has workwear durability and provides a great base to layer and style with timeless ensembles. Our modern short-length button-down collar comes replete with Gitman's original details like chalk buttons, locker loop, and a final horizontal button hole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the new modern slim fit with a slightly less dramatic hem sweep and straighter body as a variation to the signature fit that remains the same tailored "just right" cut for most body types.
