The De Bonne Facture x Division Road Olive Organic Ventile® Work Jacket is inspired by the vivid portraits of American painter Alice Neel combined with a provincial palette and sourcing theme to communicate the marriage between art and nature, made with traditional workshop craftsmanship to produce a garment with timeless style and longevity. With a focus on sustainability through natural fibers and production techniques that connect the garment to the landscape, this collaboration Work Jacket is made from a rare 100% Organic Cotton Ventile® that's been specially produced to be free of any poly-fluorinated chemicals. To create a vintage aesthetic with a pure provenance, De Bonne Facture utilized this fabric that was originally developed for the British Military as a densely woven cotton oxford cloth that is naturally waterproof due to its production process. When water contacts the material, the fibers stiffen and completely repel all traces of moisture making it one of the most celebrated fabrics for its remarkable durability in a completely breathable yet waterproof cotton fabric. With a minimalist design approach inspired by vintage fashion, each element carries thematic consistency and purpose with details like set-in sleeves for a classic silhouette, patch front chest and lower hand pockets, an interior pocket for devices and keepsakes, and high character genuine horn buttons utilized on the front placket and cuffs. De Bonne Facture Outerwear generally runs large, and is based on European tailoring sizing.
