Gitman Vintage Old Masters
Gitman Vintage Old Masters
The Old Masters from Gitman Vintage is made from an all-season, lightweight 100% Cotton Poplin milled in Japan in an exclusive woven print with a luxurious finish that's been washed for softness to yield a comfortable and sturdy style staple. One of Gitman's signature fabric developments during the 70's and 80's was their 2-ply cotton poplin, and this cartouche style woven print of iconic oil paintings from Da Vinci, Botticelli, and Degas, among others, gives an inspired art lover's pop to a shirt with a vintage vibe that will evolve beautifully with repeated wearing and washing. This unique band collar long sleeve shirt comes replete with Gitman's original details like chalk buttons, locker loop, and a final horizontal button hole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the new modern slim fit with a slightly less dramatic hem sweep and straighter body, as a variation to the signature fit that remains the same tailored "just right" cut for most body types. We are unique in our offerings of Gitman Vintage by neck sizing for all you gents who are between alpha sizes; you now have the opportunity for a perfectly-fitting Gitman right out of the box.

Gitman Vintage shirts are washed post-production so expect some size variation between different fabrics. The Old Masters runs slightly small, and we suggest taking a half (0.5) size up from your common Gitman or Alpha Size (S | M | L | XL). There is little to no shrinkage when washed and dried properly. We offer Gitman Vintage in neck sizing rather than alphas so now you can have the closest fit possible regardless of your fabric choice.
We recommend consulting our Sizing Guide and using our Virtual Size Chart.
