The Japanese Cabana Stripe Popover from Gitman Vintage is made from a limited deadstock, medium-weight 100% Cotton ikat fabric with a varied broad striped pattern using indigo dyed and slub yarns for texture and a rich color profile boasting another brilliantly updated, timeless piece. Loomed in Japan decades ago, this unique all-season cloth has a textured woven pattern that will naturally evolve in color and texture for a worn-in casual look that will become softer and perfectly faded for a casual piece reflecting mid-century style. The Popover is designed with a unique band collar and half-placket to be worn tucked-in or more directionally untucked in the new modern slim fit with a slightly less dramatic hem sweep and straighter body, as a variation to the signature fit that remains the same tailored "just right" cut for most body types.
