Description
The Freenote Cloth Shifter Pant is a fresh remake of mechanics trousers from the 1940s in a clean, straight-tapered fit with a mid-high rise and a roomy seat and thigh that gently tapers through the leg to a wide hem. These chinos are made in a 14 oz. Japanese Twill, similar to military WWII productions, using heavy yarns dyed to saturated khaki and garment-washed to provide a vintage texture and softened flexibility in a durable fabric that will patina over time. The Shifter Pant is an updated version of a vintage straight with a slight taper that fits comfortably loose, but not baggy, on various body types to channel a timeless aesthetic. Staying true to heritage production details and design elements, this pant features a YKK brass reproduction zipper fly, front side seam pockets and welted back pockets, a front coin pocket, heavy-duty herringbone twill pocket bags, bartack reinforcements, flat felled inseams, and chainstitching construction throughout. The Freenote Cloth Shifter Pant is a modern take on Western workwear made in the United States with old-world quality — sure to become a future heirloom for the vintage-inspired enthusiast seeking something new.
