The EasyMoc x Division Road Toffee Crazy Horse Rambler 3-Eye Moc is a fully functional derby shoe exclusively designed in collaboration with founder Greg Cordeiro. Made to serve in daily duty for the style-savvy looking to represent workshop craft, this shoe highlights Maine’s finest traditions of hand-lasted, hand-sewn, true moccasin production. This Division Road make-up is made with Crazy Horse from Seidel Tannery, which uses full-weight steer hides that are heavily stuffed using an exclusive recipe of oil and wax to yield a flexible and durable leather with a buffed grain for a matte finish that allows the ingredients to come to the surface for protection and pull-up. Coming in an aniline finished, undyed crust Toffee Tan color, this leather will patina beautifully for an aged finish that goes from matte lows to oily highs in various shades of brown. The fully leather-lined, double vamp upper is hand-lasted on an adapted vintage moccasin boot form for an accommodating fit that allows the moccasin hand-sewn leather construction to mold to the foot. This shoe pattern is complemented and completed with a full collar for a locked fit below the ankle, a reinforced quarter with a unique heavy-duty sail stitch, natural upper thread including the heavy gauge waxed moccasin toe, heel, and overcast stitching, and is completed with tonal antique brass eyelets for a make-up refined for the city and well-equipped to explore the woods. The Rambler Moc is assembled for a lifetime of utility using considered elements, including an Ortholite® Comfort Hybrid Recycled Footbed for a modern interior and a Blake welted insole to a natural leather midsole for full re-craftability. For proportional balance and a stable surface, the Rambler Moc is completed with an outsole stitched midsole atop a Vibram 2060 industrial walking sole ideal for stable striding from concrete to campsite in a workman-made moccasin that styles up to your best heritage or modern ensembles.
