White’s Boots x Division Road Collaborations
We are pleased to premiere a set of completely exclusive leathers paired with new Lasts and patterns to Division Road in our MP-CF Steady Pack collaborations with White’s Boots. A lengthy and deliberate development process, this substantial series involved sourcing specialty leather articles from Charles F. Stead, dialing in our formal presentation of three new Lasts, and creating variations on the MP pattern to produce three make-ups with a unique, military-inspired work boot personality unified by core elements. We’ve brought in three different tannages in specific and rare dye lots from CF Stead to use exclusively on the White’s collaborations introduced in this pack. Additionally, we’re debuting the use of the MP, 5050, and Northwest Lasts from White’s in our Division Road make-ups, with a tested and dialed-in standard offering in E Widths for a more relatable and accommodating fit. Each boot comes on varied and amended versions of the MP pattern to enhance the hides, Lasts, and details for considered and distinct styling and utility. Whether channeling modern menswear with the Sepia Brown Buckingham MPM1, street swagger with the Flint Waxed Kudu MP Sherman, or rugged ranching with the New Rosewood Waxed Unicorn MP Sherman, these White’s x Division Road collaborations present another evolution of collectable craft to use in daily rotations.
CF Stead Sepia Brown Buckingham MPM1
Designed as a clean and contemporary style, this MPM1 has a sophisticated and stout form with the authenticity, craft, components, and heart of a White’s. This military-inspired pattern has a cap toe and custom triple stitching to correspond to the single continuous counter that acts as a backstay, providing a balanced composition. CF Stead’s Buckingham tannage is a recent development and utilizes hand-selected steer butt hides that have a tight and uniform grain profile, which are tumbled for a soft hand and flexibility in a strong and durable leather and come in our versatile, aniline dyed Sepia Brown that has an olive base and medium hue. The MPM1 uses the MP Last that’s based off the well-proven Barrie and comes atop a Vibram 430 Mini Lug Sole to give a commanding disposition to this more elegant officer dress boot design. Made with White’s top-tier hand-welted stitchdown construction with a single row for greater flexibility and closer trim, this boot embodies craft with an all-leather build that rests in a single bootmaker’s skilled hands through bottoming.
CF Stead New Rosewood Unicorn MP Sherman
For a unique yet utilitarian make-up, this MP Sherman is designed as a cross between a military-inspired field boot and an outdoor-focused work boot. The Unicorn moniker is apt as it’s a prized article from CF Stead, comprised of Scandinavian Elk Hides known for their tense striated grain that are lightly sanded and waxed on the surface to a matte finish that enhances texture and character. Allowing the tannage recipe to take center stage, this MP Sherman has a clean plain toe and split counter and backstay which serves to fully exhibit the burnt nutmeg color profile and wild grain patterns that will correspond when venturing fields or foreign lands. This make-up is formed on the 5050 Last that combines the top-down toe shape and forefoot of the MP Last with the subtly greater profile and heel height of the 55 Last for a streamlined work boot. Using White’s top-tier hand-welted stitchdown construction with a single row for greater flexibility and closer trim in an all-leather build that rests in a single bootmaker’s skilled hands through bottoming, this MP Sherman comes atop a Split Commando Lug Sole and block heel for a balance between sophisticated and stalwart.
CF Stead Flint Waxed Kudu MP Sherman
Made as an urban dwelling, travel heavy and workshop ready make-up, this MP Sherman takes the tradition of a White’s and pushes it into new territories. Coming with a plain toe design to display the distinct warm charcoal color and grain patterns of Flint Waxed Kudu, this versatile style is balanced with a split counter and pull loop for full utility. CF Stead’s famed Waxed Kudu is a rare leather using wild African antelope hides that have a tight pebbled grain and scars from the terrain, which is sanded and waxed to make a dutiful and flexible skin even more robust with a matte to subtle sheen grain. This MP Sherman is formed on the Northwest Last designed as a comfortable, lower heeled and sleeker alternative to the 55 Last while retaining all the functionality. All assembled with White’s top-tier hand-welted stitchdown construction and a single row for greater flexibility and close trim, combined with an all-leather build that rests in a single bootmaker’s skilled hands through bottoming, this MP Sherman comes atop a single leather midsole and Vibram 4014 Christy Sole for industrial durability with a street savvy disposition.
