Collaboration and Releases with Viberg, Nine Lives, Iron Heart, and Somét
We’re unveiling an arsenal of collectables for the craft cowboy of tomorrow, the kind of gent that likes to go a little bit deeper than what's required. That’s why each piece refracts tradition while staying true to the undeniable quality of time-tested techniques and materials. Each brand from this release pushes the envelope in their own regard: Viberg takes fresh eyes to working military boot designs, Nine Lives remixes old-school production techniques on new-school styles, Iron Heart cuts and sews ridiculously durable materials just to prove they can, and Somét innovates on fits that lead trends rather than follow them. It’s a rally of renegades bringing us the best iterations of premium manufacturing finesse to create a nightfall ensemble for the folks who can handle it.
Viberg x Division Road
The 310 Black Oil Tan Roughout on the Vibram Gloxi is the kind of boot that’s home on Fury Road. Tank like in its construction, this heavily oiled and waxed leather is flipped on its roughout side for an untamed, protective finish, applied to the 310’s statement profile with its rockabilly upturned toe and elevated heel. Atop an all-black, all-terrain, all season Gloxi cut Vibram Sole, this boot brings a sinister wild side to every occasion.
Straight out of a Tarantino flick, this Sashiko Duster is for the gun slinging samurai. Meticulously engineered for precise tension, density, and weight, this particular Sashiko is perhaps the best version of the storied Edo period martial arts fabric. Coated with a Blackened Wax for weather protection over a Natural Indigo with patina promise, the material is then implemented on a tailored duster pattern that exudes a sharp, streamlined aesthetic.
For the dark horse corduroy cowboy, this Iron Heart Western is made from hardy 14 wale Selvedge Corduroy that has been reactive dyed to reduce fading, while still allowing for a textural patina. Black as an Iron Heart, the piece contains subtle accents including polished Permex snaps and bright red interior chainstitching, only outwardly visible in its runoff on the hem of the garment. Soft to the touch but sturdy in the field, it’s a must-have for the solo horseman.
In premium Indigo and Black x Black denims, Somét presents us with their Writer’s Fit jeans, characterized by a dramatic Paris-meets-Prefecture silhouette. With a large high-rise with a roomy seat and thigh that aggressively tapers to a narrow hem, you end with a high style streetwear pair of jeans that are made to withstand the more unexpected twists and turns of city life. Featuring an 8 by 20 count yarn weave for subtle elasticity, this is an innovative fit for the style specialist.
