Collection: Gitman Vintage

In 1932, Max Gitman opened the Ashland Shirt & Pajama Company in the coal mining town of Ashland, Pennsylvania. With his two sons, Alfred and Sheldon, he ran the factory as a contract shop until 1978 when the Gitman Bros. brand was born. Today, Gitman Bros. is one of the last remaining American shirt makers with all manufacturing still based in the USA. Created with materials from mills in the US, Europe, and Japan and sewn by experienced craftspeople, history and quality are paramount in each garment. Gitman Vintage is a curated shirt collection that pays tribute to its heritage with a distinct offering. Each season, the old line books are referenced to inspire new designs from prized archive fabrics as the basis for innovative takes on wardrobe staples. For over 40 years, the Gitman family has continued the legacy they established by creating some of the country’s best button-down shirts.
