The Role

The Business Operations Manager role is an opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial drive and a passion for well-made, rare products to be a significant contributor to a landmark niche retail business. Division Road has an old-world standard of retailing, defined by building relationships with clientele through delivering comprehensive product knowledge and personalizing services in physical and virtual venues.

The Business Operations Manager will execute duties across many areas to facilitate the successful operation of both the brick-and-mortar environment and the business's e-commerce mechanisms. This role will increase sales of Division Road’s carefully crafted merchandise mix and leverage the iconic flagship location by ensuring a streamlined operation from front to back of house.

From improving policies and procedures, developing and implementing plans for scaling, researching channels for cost reduction, and monitoring accounting processes, the Biz Ops Manager will be responsible for the team’s success by managing inventory, supplies, budgeting, and business development. Ultimately, this role is the mechanism between the executive and the team that implements the brand vision.

This position requires a dynamic person with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. In one day, you must be able to serve clients online and in-store, coordinate shipments and reconcile vendor accounts, run analytics reports and schedule media campaigns, oversee facilities and people, maintain the store, and execute all duties to an exceptionally high standard.

We are looking for an efficient and effective professional with a track record of success managing physical sales and/or e-commerce operations, with a background or education in logistics management, business administration, accounting, or marketing.   • Minimum 3 years of Retail or Hospitality Management experience within a luxury environment, including marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of B2C or B2B Operations Management experience, including Budgeting and Bookkeeping
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Detailed knowledge of CSM Systems and advanced computer skills, including expertise with all Microsoft Office programs and proficiency with Creative Suites
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce systems; experience with Shopify is a plus
  • Comfortable with IT, including network management


  • Deliver product knowledge and serve customers to Division Road standards
  • Process in-store and online transactions
  • Client Relations through phone, email, and social media
  • Physical and E-Commerce retail management for net orders (from purchase to delivery to experience) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Personnel management, to include training and performance oversight and review
  • Logistics and budget management of inventory, supply, collateral, and shipping
  • Supply and merchandise re-orders and allocation planning
  • Budgeting and Bookkeeping
  • Reporting via Shopify, Google, and social media analytics
  • Strategizing and executing Google Ad Words and social media campaigns
  • Collaborate on growth strategy with e-commerce, brick & mortar, and pop-up channels
  • Event planning and execution
  • Long-term strategy, development, and marketing of The Fields
  • Site management (events and rentals)
  • Maintaining showroom and appointment experience

  • Work 5 days per week, to include one weekend day
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.+)
