We are back with a big announcement — the connection between Viberg and Division Road has been reestablished to provide legendary collaborations once again. From the footwear veterans with a robust and well-curated collection to recent recruits into the army of enthusiasts embarking on a journey into the highest quality footwear, we have two Viberg x Division Road make-ups that will be treasured within any rotation. To reintroduce this honored partnership of aesthetics and craft, we bring a duo of dominance in design inspired by pivotal historical eras with the Olivia TPR Horsebutt Boondocker and T.Moro TPR Horsebutt Shelby Sharp. Of note, each of our Viberg collabs will be one-and-done limited releases and the volume of new make-ups hitting the market will be far more sparing than years ago. So don’t practice too much prudence if you wish to seize these rarities — once these icons are gone, they’re gone.
Viberg x DR T.Moro Horsebutt Shelby Sharp
That’s right, the Shelby is back and better than ever in a hyper-dark brown Horsebutt as a nod to the horseracing gangster storyline inspiration of this design. Sharp pinking and brogue elements highlight the turn of the century era from which this high derby boot originates, while exquisite modern execution on an industrial build have made the Shelby Sharp collectable from day one. All original detailing on this exclusive-to-Division Road pattern has been maintained including the higher quarter, brogue and pinked cap toe, ridgeline pinked quarter and counter, and the brogue and pinked backstay — enhanced with a rare pinked storm welt to sharpen our Shelby design. Finished with tonal specifications throughout for a shadowy figure that will reveal its true nature with hardened wear, this style sits atop a Ridgeway sole made for confident strides from countryside casino house to cloak and dagger operations in London city.
Viberg x DR Olivia Horsebutt Boondocker
Another Division Road collectable grail is our unique iteration of the Boondocker coming in a dark forest green Horsebutt that shows its military inspiration in a natural, olive palette complemented with quad and triple tonal stitching on the upper and a clean-cut collar to present an iconic up-production for all our captains of craft. Formed on the lower profiled Munson-based 2055 Last characterized by an accommodative round toe with a wider forefoot and balanced with an anatomically designed narrow waist and heel that allows for a functional and comfortable fit, the Boondocker is well-suited for a variety of feet and boasts a sleek, field boot aesthetic completed with an unstructured toe box. This Boondocker is finished with antique brass eyelets and a corresponding natural leather midsole atop a sturdy, stable, and stout Commando sole with stitchdown construction to honor Viberg’s signature methods made better with constant evolutions.
