Deadstock Heller's Cafe x Warehouse Collection - Part 1

Seattle, USA - Osaka, JP

Warehouse Rarities from the King of Vintage's Vault

In 1986, Larry McKaughan launched Heller's Cafe as a venue to distribute some of the rarest pieces from one of the most impressive American vintage garment collections in the world. Regarded as the "King of Vintage," Larry's experience in finding the best examples around with distinct wear histories has set him apart in the industry for decades. Heller’s Cafe Inc. has rented and sold inspiration pieces to some of the biggest brands in men’s clothing and served as a hallmark archival company that has furthered recognition of the intrinsic quality of vintage clothing. Warehouse & Co., one of the Osaka 5, has specialized in early Americana clothing recreations since the 1990s, aiming to accurately reflect originality through precise reproductions. They commit themselves tirelessly to the minutia that only enthusiasts notice and love, but that are essential to the spirit of the pieces and periods.

Division Road Hellers Cafe

In 2008, Warehouse & Co. partnered with Heller's Cafe to reproduce signature, collectable examples of Larry’s collection with enhanced Japanese standards of craftsmanship that stayed true to the antique American originals. The partnership between Heller’s Cafe and Warehouse Company Japan was based on a mutual respect for each other and shared appreciation for the craft of men’s Americana clothing. McKaughan's three-decade long history of collecting and selling has been bolstered by his keen eye that sees the beauty of garments through the lens of what those pieces were to the people who wore them and as a representation of their lives. Under the Warehouse & Co. umbrella of labels, the collaboration with Heller’s Cafe brought a focus on the most unique, rare and exciting pieces produced to yield new collectables once thought lost by history.

Division Road Hellers Cafe

We are pleased to offer an exclusive opportunity to purchase new deadstock examples, originally produced in exceptionally limited quantities and specifically for collectors in Japan. Emanating from the vault of the King of Vintage, these Heller's Cafe by Warehouse garments come from the 2010-2012 capsule collections. Due to the very limited sizes and quantities of this selection and as an homage to the approach of collecting and retailing heritage during this period, we've reproduced the marketplace in which these garments originally would have been distributed via our Journal/Blog format.
