This week, from Iron Heart, Studio D’Artisan, and our own Division Provisions we have a focused release on the mid-century period with ranch, moto, and ivy inspirations derived from deeply archetypal expressions of the era that defined a generation’s style. Whether you want to recall the iconic pieces of feature films, cult classics found only in vintage stores, or items with the fit and feel of yesteryear, here is a release evolved into a modern ensemble that will take you back to the 1960’s by way of today.
From the expert on elevating originals, Iron Heart brings us the 110J Modified Type III that acclimatizes from outerwear to layering piece using a proprietary 12 oz. Moleskin with workwear durability that’s been brushed and washed for a lived-in finish and feel. Paired for a heavy-duty summer day to breezy summer night configuration, we have a limited release of the weighty 7.5 oz. Loopwheel 2203T Crewneck Tee Shirt in White and Black that comes in a hand rolled rubber Japanese screen printed design that balances the bold Works Inc. and refined Iron Heart branding to represent your status within this moto club cult.
With Studio D’Artisan we bring a more subdued version of the Ivy Jean in an era-correct Blue and Black denim that adapts the Relaxed Tapered fit with a roomy top block and tapered leg to a narrow hem, with a shorter inseam and high break specific to that boomer campus cut. This modified fit is perfectly paired with the 13 oz. Japanese Selvedge denim produced on the classic Series 100 loom and has been factory washed and dried for a consistent color and casual drape. These jeans are wholly illustrative of mid-century denim from fit, fabric, to finish and each element will evolve subtly and naturally to the wearer over time.
