Introducing Fortela and William Lockie Collaborations

This week, we are back to our regularly scheduled program to provide the hits of heritage. We are pleased to introduce the cult menswear emblem, Fortela, Alessandro Squarzi’s personal representation of the best of vintage, made with quality, style, and perfected fits. In addition, we debut Division Road exclusive knitwear made by William Lockie, one of the world's oldest family-owned vertical producers, for those sweater essentials that cannot be found elsewhere. Finally, we give you a small restock on our Tricker’s Woodstock Derby using a limited batch CF Stead Nubuck Kudu for a solid, style-centric foundation for this astounding assembly of premium pieces.

Fortela

One of our favorite brands since the menswear revival over a decade ago, Fortela is the brainchild of the iconic Alessandro Squarzi, famous for his archives, taste-making, and influence upon the niche industry at large. Only carried by a select few premier heritage retailers globally, Fortela combines vintage fashion with refined fits in improved materials for a classically layered uniform where everything relates through timeless, considered design.

A master of editing, Squarzi tells a story through each piece and produces with old-world Italian workshop sensibility so these dialogues can continue for years to come. We are pleased to present this curated collection of outerwear and trousers that embody new classic menswear with luxury, quality, and style all wrapped into one.

William Lockie x Division Road

On the banks of the River Teviot, the Lockies have been vertically producing knitwear in Hawick, Scotland, since the late 1800s. Still family-owned and operated, employing generations of local craftspeople, William Lockie preserves the traditional hand techniques of knitwear while improving and enhancing through only the best applicable technology.

William Lockie produces simple and luxurious pieces by sourcing rare wools that are verifiably ethically harvested, knitting with the best machines from the 20s and 90s, and sewing, linking, and finishing handwork. Working with this legacy maker, Division Road presents a series of exclusive sweaters that are newly developed as well as classics with adapted fits and unique yarns for inherently special, stylish staples.

Tricker’s x Division Road

For the foundation of style, we have a small restock on our Hunter Nubuck Woodstock Country Derby collaboration with Tricker’s. We used a limited batch CF Stead Kudu with a soft nubuck finish in an earthy olive green that exhibits the wild character of the plains where these animals roamed.

With a military-to-outdoor disposition, this unique derby shoe will forge new style ground year-round on the sleek and accommodating w2298 Last. Black contrasting upper thread subtly enhances the pattern design, and matte black eyelets balance the black fabric pull, framed and completed with a black 360-degree leather storm welt and midsole atop a Goodyear Commando sole.
