The Iron Heart IHSH-62-BLK Western Shirt is a hardy, reinforced piece produced in a 12 oz. medium weight, sanforized, and once-washed right-hand twill from Kojima, Japan, designed to evolve with its wearer. Using the signature Iron Heart Western pattern of a slim fit based on the 1926 original, this shirt is perfectly proportioned in length to be worn untucked for modern, vintage-styled grit. A cult collectible fabric within the Iron Heart collection, this 100% Cotton twill is woven in a hearty weight, using black sulfur rope-dyed yarns for the warp and weft. It is block printed with a technique using bleach to create the dotted stripe Wabash pattern, which is synonymous with railroad workwear garments of the early 20th century. This fabric has a structured form that will develop into a natural drape and develop remarkable fade-to-grey patterns when worn as hard as intended. This Western has numerous and carefully considered construction and design details like the triple stitched curved shoulder and back yoke panels, which are paired with signature Iron Heart black Permex snaps on the dual flap front chest pockets, placket, and cuffs to make a piece for the stylistically sound and self-reliant. Further, internal felled seams and chainstitched construction with inseam run-off give this piece all the necessary heritage provenance and then some. Sizing

Model Measurements: 5'9" | 165 lbs. | 41" Chest | 34" Waist - Wearing Size L

Iron Heart Shirting sizing is graded in small increments. The 62 Western runs true to Iron Heart sizing and is made with a sanforized, once-washed fabric with most shrinkage removed. With regular use, one can expect up to .5-1" of stretch in the chest over the long term.
