Description

The Drover Short Sleeve Shirt in Alvord Khaki from Dehen 1920 is made in a 100% Combed Cotton medium-weight 8.25 oz. Japanese Military Canvas Cloth that's appropriate as a versatile style staple for year-round use. A newer piece in the Dehen collection, the Drover exemplifies functional craftsmanship as a base layer or open overshirt to give a refined, rugged look to each heritage ensemble by infusing military elements of squared pocketing and a pleated back shoulder yoke with tonal details in a modern method. Coming in a saturated khaki, this evolved canvas weave cloth has a slight sateen finish signature to military garments and is left in an unwashed state to provide a structured drape and a clean, neutral palette that will naturally patina through years of repeated wears and washes. The Drover is a well-built foundational piece with dual flap front chest pockets and a hidden pen pocket. It is completed with custom-dyed melamine buttons and felled seams throughout. The Drover will become a go-to for the city slicker and workshop warrior to wear over a tee or thermal or as a base layer with heavier, classically inspired ensembles.
