Japanese Herringbone Twill that's been sanforized and once washed for a comfortable all-season staple shirt designed to evolve with its wearer. Using an adapted Iron Heart CPO shirt pattern with military details, this piece is perfectly proportioned to be worn untucked as a shirt or overshirt with a square hem and split side seam for vintage-styled grit in a design and fabric that uniquely hallmarks army shirts from the '40s and '50s. Similar to the military issue, this dutiful cloth has been washed for enhanced texture and an aged aesthetic to enhance the broken twill weave from yarns that have been sulfur dyed to fade uniquely when worn as hard as intended. The Military Shirt has numerous and carefully considered construction and design details that improve the original inspiration, like the welted lower hand pockets, buttoned flap front patch chest pockets, button front placket, and cuffs using concave military-grade melamine buttons. Iron Heart Shirting sizing is graded in small increments. The 385 Military CPO Shirt runs true to Iron Heart sizing and is made with a sanforized, once washed fabric with all shrinkage removed. With regular use, one can expect little to no stretch or shrinkage over the long term.
