The Japan Blue Circle Series J301 Straight 14.8 oz. US Cotton Indigo is a modern slim tapered fit with a medium-rise and a moderate seat and thigh that gracefully tapers through the leg to a narrow hem. This sanforized, proprietary 14.8 oz. Indigo Selvedge Denim is vintage shuttle loomed in Kojima, Japan, at moderate tension in-house using select 100% US Grown Cotton fibers. Washed for immediate comfort and drape, this denim has a slight slub yarn with a rope-dyed indigo warp and natural weft over natural core yarns to develop vintage fading patterns in shades of blue to white with repeated wears and washes. The Circle Series development is part of the Japan Blue agenda to innovate heritage goods through fits and fabrics to yield quality, modern selvedge jeans for a broad application of lifestyles and body types enabled by proprietary denim, a curved waistband, and clean detailing. Finished with elevated components and production standards, these jeans boast an embossed natural vegetable-tanned leather patch, heavy-duty twill pocket bags, an aged brass steel button waist and brass zipper fly, aged brass rivets, signature blue inseam thread, bartack reinforcements throughout, and a chainstitched waist, seat, and hem. Japan Blue runs true to size, and we suggest going 0-1 size down from your Actual Waist Measurement (Body). Made with sanforized and once-washed denim, most shrinkage is removed. With regular use and after 1-2 washes, one can expect to gain .75-1" in the waist long term.
