Deep Indigo in the Narrow Tapered is a mid-high rise with a roomy seat and thigh that dramatically tapers through the leg to a very narrow hem to yield a modern slim tapered cut for a wide variety of body types. The new 15.7 oz. Deep Indigo Selvedge Denim is a proprietary recipe of hand-cultivated, long-staple 100% Organic Zimbabwe Cotton, deeply rope-dyed indigo, and vintage shuttle looming at moderate tensions. The result is a hallmark denim that's amazingly durable and rigid, which will evolve with a soft hand, structured form, and deep color saturation that will fade with a layered character through years of heavy wear. With a deep indigo-dyed warp and natural weft over natural core yarns, this denim will develop deep blue to vintage white fading patterns with repeated wears and washes. This jean comes with the Momotaro standard peach selvedge line to represent the folkloric story that symbolizes Japan's rejuvenation of selvedge denim production in their home of Kojima, Okayama, and the brand's reputation of crafting some of the best jeans in the world by always looking to progress within traditional techniques. Momotaro runs true to size, and we suggest going 0-1 size down from your Actual Waist Measurement (Body). Made with sanforized and once-washed denim, most shrinkage is removed. With regular use and after 1-2 washes, one can expect to gain .75"-1" in the waist long term.
