Description

The Viberg x Division Road Horween Brown CXL Service Boot is an updated version of Viberg’s original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931 and inspired by a standard issue military boot pattern used by several nations during WWII. This exclusive-to-Division Road Service Boot uses Brown Chromexcel by Horween®, the original pull-up leather developed from a nearly century-old secret recipe of techniques, materials, and finishes. This leather is known for its flexibility, comfort, and durability. With the grain side single strike dyed medium dark Brown, this leather has a natural undyed core to allow wear and scuffs to evolve a deep vintage patina. Molded on the 310 Last pulled from archive work boot forms with a high profile vamp and rockabilly upturned toe, this functional heritage throwback boot is complemented with a cap toe, antique brass eyelets, and a hand antiqued leather midsole atop a Vibram 705 Split Sole and sculpted heel for an elegant new-vintage design. With each piece carefully assembled by exacting Viberg craftspeople using stitchdown construction, this is perfected footwear designed for those seeking a collectible Service Boot that will age and evolve uniquely to the wearer while remaining both timeless and indispensable within any vintage-inspired, modern wardrobe.

Sizing

Viberg sizing is consistent to our old-grade manufacturers and the 310 Last is frequently equal to a Tricker’s or White’s for most feet. As a general rule when sizing for Viberg, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance.
