After multi-generational family experience in the vintage military garment trade, Gianpaolo and Jonathan Targetti decided to draw on their reserves and design ideal wardrobe pieces for those who love to wear timeless garments. Vast archives of military and workwear goods collected over the last century serve as inspiration for The Quartermaster’s concentration on high-quality fabric production — reproducing rare classics in Italy with small-scale and sustainable methods. The Quartermaster ensures traceability through the entire supply chain from sourcing raw natural materials to using sustainable, premium recycled fibers that add to the durability and longevity of their pieces. Enabling this achievement of vertical production from fiber to garment is their partnership with a local Tuscan mill and artisan workshop — using deadstock materials, developing new fabrics, and manufacturing garments with enduring style and quality.
