The Quartermaster Re-Camo HBT P41 Utility Work Jacket is made in a medium-weight 10 oz. Italian Herringbone Twill that has been sanforized and washed for softness, texture, and comfort in a 100% Cotton cloth signature to military garments from the 50s-70s due to the fabric's durability. Using new sulfur print capabilities leveraged on this HBT cloth, The Quartermaster developed this exclusive remixed camouflage by balancing the iconic and graphic Tiger Stripe camouflage pattern adopted by US Special Forces in the Vietnam War and the subdued palette of the Italian Army M29 camo introduced in 1929 and used for over half a century, producing a style-versatile piece that will evolve with repeated wears and washes. The Work Jacket is inspired by the iconic P41 Utility Jacket — worn by the United States Marines during the Pacific campaigns of World War II up until the Inchon landings during the Korean War — and uses exclusively developed and deadstock materials that hallmark the original with a sophisticated aesthetic and luxuriously textured finish. This garment has been adapted and improved from fit to detailing in an authentic reproduction suited for any new-classic enthusiast, with patch chest and lower pockets for convenient compartments, a buttoned back field pocket, and brown corozo button front and cuffs. Tailor-taped, banded, and felled seams culminate in a garment made to last with Tuscan vertical manufacturing and provenance.
