For our signature Viberg shoe collaboration of the season, we bring you the impressively understated Anise Kudu Reverse Derby. A classic with an urban attitude, this shoe is designed to take you from the airport to the underground with styling strides and to be just as useful in a workshop or the woods. A light-colored suede Derby Shoe was originally designed as leisure class footwear, but our version has been toughened up with that bad boy on campus persona.
The spicy golden tan Anise Kudu Reverse is Charles F. Stead’s highest quality full-grain Janus tannage that uses hand selected hides to produce a finely sanded and aniline dyed flesh side leather that has a natural finish with a butter soft nap and luxurious luster. This durable and resilient suede is paired with with tonal antique brass eyelets and tan leather French binding for a clean canvas that will remain distinguished even when scared by pounding the pavement or sauntering through the sticks.
This refined classic Derby pattern is stylistically versatile and, much like its wearer, has no limitations. The dress-styled 2030 Last grants a sleek low profile that's balanced with a Natural 360 Storm Welt to give a rugged lean and a Vibram 4014 Christy Sole for a street sensibility with industrial purpose.
