Collaborations and Releases with Crockett & Jones, Dehen 1920, Gitman Vintage, and Shockoe Atelier

This week, we have a story about distinct wardrobe staples that are advanced with premium materials, traditional craftsmanship, and an overall philosophy that heritage can be approachable and wearable. This curation of style inspirations will fill the gaps in a wardrobe with a full restock on our Crockett & Jones Hurricane Hide collaborations, some limited outerwear collectables from Dehen, a host of Gitmans for the fall season and beyond, and premium selvedge jeans made for the everyman from Shockoe. For the next era of menswear, we interpret the past with an eye on refinement to make the classics fresh, forward, and forever relevant.

Crockett & Jones x Division Road

Our work with Crockett & Jones has resonated with many collectors and still more are discovering that elegance and ruggedness can live in the same space when funneled through the Division Road perspective on some of the finest English footwear crafted by this famed Northampton maker. For our first restock from C&J x DR, we bring the Hurricane Hide Coniston and Moray as perfect examples of utilitarian craft and design sensibility that possess a hallmark special tannage recipe and clean, precise detailing throughout along with storm welts and lug soles in order to carry their wearer though ventures in business, life, and leisure.

Dehen 1920

With a host of collaborations on deck with Dehen, we always leave space to bring in some special items from the seasonal collection. We have two limited Dehen outerwear pieces produced in exceptional materials and a coordinated woodland palette. The instantly covetable deadstock 18 oz. Pendleton® Jacquard Camo comes on the Winston jacket that smoothly combines traditional elements and military inspirations. The Varsity jacket comes in a palette driven by the Northwest landscape with an Olive Pendleton® Melton wool body and premium cowhide Rust leather, providing a natural feel for an inspirational sportswear piece with outdoor character.

Gitman Vintage

It’s no secret that Gitman Vintage is our shirting mainstay, and just in time for fall we have a coordinated collection of Japanese Corduroy, Heavy Twill Checks, and Shaggy Mélange Flannels representing the casual elegance of the new menswear era and leveraging the time-tested formula of combining the best specialty fabrics with a shirting fit that works for a variety of body types. Resurrected from the archives and in a version exclusive to Division Road, we are pleased to bring back the evolved Camper shirt after a multi-year hiatus. This wardrobe staple serves equally as an overshirt or base layer with a pleated back shoulder and less dramatic hem sweep for that go-to fall essential.

Shockoe Atelier

From our friends down the road in Richmond, we bring you a full restock on the Shockoe Kojima that can be classified easily as the best no-fuss premium selvedge jean with workshop provenance on the market. Dispensing with the heritage geekery and made with a tailor’s approach, these are jeans made for those that simply want a wearable, high quality jean in an all-season denim that will age nicely and naturally to be that everyday pair from day to night. The perfectly adapted Slim has a medium high rise and moderate seat and thigh with a nicely tapered leg, while the Standard comes as a tailored classic good for the guy who wants a more traditional cut with a contemporary edge.
