Coming from the last producer of waxed canvas left in the United States, this 100% Cotton cloth is a 10 oz. Military-grade Duck Canvas weave with consistent tension and structured form waxed to a 12.5 oz. weight to be "tough as duck." This refined Rider Jacket provides resistance to inclement weather with a Martexin® Original Waxed Canvas used by the military for generations in the harsh environment at sea, in a formula made from a propriety and environmentally friendly food and pharmaceutical grade wax that will dramatically break in while offering long-term protection. A Freenote Cloth wardrobe classic, the Rider Jacket comes in a tailored fit with heavy-duty copper buttons for the front placket, adjustable button back waist, and cuffs. It is equipped with a gusseted back shoulder panel for full reinforcement, mobility, and comfortable layering. Staying true to heritage production details and evolved design elements, this jacket features dual patch chest pockets, slash front welted hand pockets, and an interior chest pocket. The Rider is finished with Japanese cotton flannel body lining and rayon-lined sleeves and is completed with internal felled seams, copper rivets, bartack reinforcements, and chainstitched construction throughout.
