Designed with Chris Warren, who has been with the company since his youth, we utilized unique details and the Regular Toe Jobmaster pattern to a create a workman-styled boot that speaks to the heritage of the West Coast Shoe Company. Complete with their multi-paneled upper and stitchdown construction, the result is fully rebuildable footwear made for industrial work environments. Jobmaster boots were initially worn by lineman and loggers starting a century ago. They evolved through the decades with an extended quarter for greater protection and durability with a comfortable fit for the conditions of use. This boot utilizes a limited batch of English Tan Chromepak, a full-Chrome version of an original Horween pull-up recipe composed of an assortment of century-old techniques, materials, and finishes that yields a remarkably durable, flexible, and rare leather. Chromepak involves hand-selecting hides that can manage the highest impregnation of oils and beeswax possible to produce a leather with unbelievable pull-up qualities wherein one can see the waxes and oils move throughout with wear, while constantly renewing itself and revealing grain characteristics. This leather is enhanced with vintage-inspired details like natural leather midsoles, a fully gusseted tongue, and brass eyelets. Our Jobmaster uses a natural white contrast heavy-weight upper thread to compliment the double rapid E stitchdown, and a Vibram® 700 Sole for all-condition traction to yield a workhorse that, once broken-in, will wear well for life. Made as an unapologetic work boot to Wesco's century-old standards and customized to Division Road specifications, this Jobmaster is built for framing a house or hiking through the outdoors in a refined aesthetic suitable for the urban journeyman.
