Viberg Service Boot - 2030 - Vibram 2060 - Charcoal Chamois
The Charcoal Chamois Service Boot is an updated interpretation of Viberg's original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931. A similar pattern was used by several countries as a standard issue military boot during WWII. This exclusive-to-Division Road version comes in a warm coal colored Charcoal Chamois that's a highly oiled, fat liquored, full vegetable re-tanned nubuck produced by Horween. This leather is designed to have considerable flexibility and durability with a natural, soft feel that requires minimal maintenance. The matte nubuck finish allows the heavy oil content of the Chamois tannage to come to the surface providing protection against the elements and simultaneously allows for a subtle patina. We utilized the 2030 Last to provide a sleeker silhouette and paired it with the tonally corresponding details of a Black CXL bellows tongue, gunmetal eyelets and a black wash leather midsole atop the black Vibram 2060 sole for forest trekking with street-savvy style. Fully assembled with stitchdown construction by Viberg's exacting craftsmen, this footwear staple manages to convey both vintage and modern sensibilities with a clean palette that will develop a refined character specific to its travels. In a redux of our Tonal Traveler series, the Charcoal Chamois Service Boot will perform in all conditions and become a daily style staple within anyone's rotation, boasting a statement aesthetic and a rugged build perfect for the gent who embraces the journey from city life to the back woods.
