Viberg Service Boot - 1035 - Ridgeway - Noir Vitello Calf
The Noir Vitello Calf Service Boot is an updated version of Viberg’s original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931 and inspired by a standard issue military boot pattern used by several nations during WWII. The boot features the Black Vitello Calf Leather, a full-grain vegetable tanned supple calfskin with a sanded nubuck-like finish produced in one of Italy’s most exclusive tanneries. This matte black Noir color is like a coal-colored cloud rolling through a dark alleyway with a warm base. The result is a leather that will patina dramatically with exposure to the city and outdoors while always carrying a level of sophistication through its travels. Molded on the 1035 Last for a sleeker low profile boot with an accommodating fit, the boot is fully lined with a brogue cap toe detailed with traditional ridgeline pinking, eight gunmetal eyelets, and a washed black midsole atop a British made Ridgeway sole to provide lug traction in an elegant design. This is a fully functional stitchdown boot with a subtle dress sensibility. Each step is carefully executed by exacting Viberg craftsmen, making it a perfect piece for those looking for an easily paired, classic Service Boot taken to the next level of refinement.
