Scout Boot - 2030 - Vibram Mini Ripple - Icy Mocha Essex

$745.00

Description

The Scout Boot inspiration was taken from the iconic Viberg 105 Logger that debuted in the 1950’s and still is in production today. Modified slightly from the original pattern to include a 6” height adjustment, this boot is an excellent combination of woodsman comfort and urban ruggedness that aficionados hold as one of their favorite styles. Part of our Horween Heritage Collection produced in collaboration with Viberg, we utilized this vegetable tanned Icy Mocha Essex leather that uses the same traditional extracts as Horween's Cordovan with a high oil and fat content. The leather is hand-glazed with an aniline finish to retain the hide's natural feel and surface, resulting in a hearty-yet-supple leather that will patina beautifully to a great degree. On the sleek 2030 last we underscored the rarity of the design with the stacked wedge midsole and Vibram Mini Ripple sole, vintage brass eyelets, and a leather heel pull. Each piece is elegantly assembled by Viberg craftsmen using stitchdown construction to highlight a fully functioning boot with a clean, vintage street aesthetic.
