Pinky Blinder Derby Boot - 2030 - Dainite - Black Horsebutt

$750.00

Description

The Derby Boot is a newer style to the Viberg collection and is based on the classically understated British boot that has a back-stay rather than a counter panel. This version was inspired by the Peaky Blinders, and, befitting to the story as well as the era, it utilizes a vegetable-tanned Black Horsebutt from Italy with a shell-like quality that will patina more naturally while retaining a semi-dress finish. We can see Thomas Shelby wearing this boot, which has an exclusive treatment of half-moon pinking on the quarter and back stay in addition to the brogue cap toe that hallmarks English detailing, all combined with the 2030 last for an elegant silhouette. Granting a refined look to a turn-of-the-century aesthetic, this Derby Boot is fully finished with a black leather flat welt and midsole, blind eyelets, round wax laces, French binding, and a Dainite sole for all-purpose wear that'll assist with channeling your inner gangster. Setting the bar even higher, this boot leverages Goodyear welting using traditional techniques coupled with channeled insoles produced by Viberg's exacting craftsmen, resulting in a boot that will last a lifetime.
