The Tricker's x Division Road C.F. Stead Bronze Unicorn Dean Boot is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a walnut brown full-grain Scandinavian Elk leather upper paired with a Goodyear Commando sole. This Division Road style utilizes Bronze Unicorn tanned in the UK by the storied C.F. Stead, known for making some of the finest waxed leathers in the world. The Unicorn is an aniline dyed Elk hide with remarkable grain characteristics unique to wild animals. The hide is treated with a subtle wax coating in the tanning process that yields a matte finish with an added layer of protection to an already robust, yet flexible leather. The Dean is an austere adaptation of the Eaton Boot with a casual appearance that has pinking throughout the pattern and a cap toe combined with triple stitching. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe and exquisite English finishing. The Dean's elegant silhouette is achieved by using the w2298 Last that has an urban dress boot shape with a slightly extended toe that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a simple forest-to-frontier focused boot that combines country footwear build-quality with a modern form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's.
