The Iron Heart IHSH-354-ODG Military Shirt is a hardy, reinforced piece produced in a proprietary 9 oz. Japanese Canvas Cloth that's been sanforized and once washed for a comfortable staple shirt designed to evolve with its wearer. Using the new Iron Heart Military Shirt pattern, this piece is perfectly proportioned and designed to be worn through various seasons with vintage-styled grit in a fit and fabric that hallmarks army shirts from the 40's and 50's. This robust canvas cloth is a medium weight box weave fabric for all-season utility and sulfur dyed to fade when worn as hard as intended. The Military Shirt has numerous and carefully considered construction and design details that improve on the original inspiration like the buttoned flap front pleated chest pockets, button front placket, and cuffs using concave military grade melamine buttons. Further, a double needle stitched squared back yoke, felled seams, and chainstitched construction throughout give this piece all the necessary heritage provenance, and then some. Iron Heart Shirting sizing is graded in small increments. The 354 Military Shirt runs true to Iron Heart sizing and is made with a sanforized, once washed fabric with all shrinkage removed. With regular use, one can expect little to no stretch or shrinkage over the long term.
