The Iron Heart IHSH-286-OLV Short Sleeved Mechanics Shirt is a medium weight, reinforced piece produced from a sanforized and rinsed Japanese Ripstop that's appropriate as a warm weather style staple. Using the new Iron Heart Mechanics Shirt pattern, this piece is perfectly proportioned and made to be worn untucked for vintage-styled grit in a design that uniquely leverages a ripstop inspired by military fabrics while saluting shop shirts from the 50's. This medium weight ripstop fabric is loomed in Japan as a box weave with reinforcement box cords to prevent the cloth from tearing, and comes in a unique rayon and polyester blend to yield a lightweight, breathable, and durable fabric with a balanced structure and drape. The Mechanics Shirt has numerous and carefully considered construction and design details that improve on the original inspiration like the snapped flap front chest pockets and front placket with YKK grey pearl and nickel snaps. Further, a double needle stitched squared back yoke, a square hem with split side seams, and finishing with felled seams and bartack reinforcements throughout give this piece all the necessary heritage provenance, and then some. Model Measurements: 5'8" | 160 lbs. | 40" Chest | 34" Waist - Wearing Size M

Iron Heart Shirting sizing is graded in small increments. The 286 Mechanics Shirt runs on the large side of Iron Heart sizing and is made with a sanforized, once washed fabric with all shrinkage removed. With regular use, one can expect little to no stretch or shrinkage over the long term.
