The Iron Heart IHJ-120-BLK Wabash Black Twill Chore Jacket is an improved, modern version of the workwear original and serves as a heritage statement piece produced from a 12 oz. medium weight, sanforized, and once-washed right hand twill from Kojima, Japan. Taken from the classic mid-century industrial work jacket, this pattern features a modified body that's been tailored from the traditional examples with reconfigured pocket placement for a better composition and fit resulting in modern-styled grit. A cult collectable fabric within the Iron Heart collection, this 100% cotton twill is woven in a hearty and approachable 12 oz. weight, using black sulfur rope dyed yarns for the warp and weft, and is block printed with a technique using bleach to create the dotted stripe Wabash pattern synonymous with railroad workwear garments of the early 20th century. This fabric has a structured form that will develop into a natural drape, and with a sulfur dyed warp and weft, evolve with remarkable fade-to-grey patterns. Created to be a functional outerwear piece from spring through fall, the 120J Chore features patch flap front snap chest and large lower pockets, a patch workman and interior chest pocket for various tools of the trades, adjustable snap gusseted cuffs, a snapped front placket, and is completed with brass snaps, internal felled seams, and chainstitched construction throughout. Iron Heart Outerwear sizing is graded in small increments. The 120J-BLK runs slightly large to Iron Heart sizing and is made with a sanforized, once washed fabric with most shrinkage removed.
