Description

The Japanese Selvedge Twill Button Down in Black from Gitman Vintage is made from a 100% cotton, soft yet durable, twill weave fabric that resembles a lighter weight version of an Oxford cloth with a uniform hand. This material is woven in Japan using a narrow self edge loom to create a substantial weave that will maintain color consistency through years of washing and wearing. A shorter length button down key collar that combines nicely with this selvedge twill fabric, resulting in a forward-looking piece with a classic aesthetic. Replete with original details like chalk buttons, locker loop, and a final horizontal button hole in green thread, the signature slim fit with tailored body and arms makes it a "just right" cut for most body types. Gitman Vintage shirts are classic, simple, original and have a casual sophistication that have made them a standard wardrobe piece for many well-dressed men. We are unique in our offerings of Gitman Vintage by neck sizing for all you gents who are between alpha sizes: you now have the opportunity for a perfect-fitting Gitman right out of the box.
