Description

The Japanese Ripple Jacquard Short Sleeve Camper in Tan from Gitman Vintage is a Division Road exclusive made from a lightweight cotton blend jacquard fabric with a three-dimensional, textured, large-scale dobby pattern boasting high heritage style in a versatile and directional taupe tan resulting in another brilliantly updated, timeless piece. Loomed in Japan, with varied yarn tension and differing weave structures for a pronounced, patterned texture, this unique woven fabric is a hearty and crisp summer weight material with natural flexibility. The Camper shirt is designed to be worn as an overshirt or on its own with a tailored, modern fit and back shoulder pleats to allow for movement with layering or as a base layer in a cut that's "just right" for most body types. This shirt is complimented with camping inspired details pulled from the archives with a non-buttoned short length Joe Collar for a modern take on a heritage style and dual chest buttoned pockets for a functional throwback, matched with Gitman's signature chalk buttons and a final horizontal button hole in green thread. Gitman Vintage shirts are classic, simple, and original, and have a casual sophistication that makes them a standard wardrobe piece for many well-dressed men.
