Gitman Vintage Japanese Organic Cotton Gingham - Navy
Description
The Gitman Vintage x Division Road Organic Cotton Gingham Button Down in Navy is made from an all-season, medium weight 100% Organic Cotton poplin cloth milled in Japan to be a comfortable, sturdy, and classic style staple. One of Gitman's signature fabric developments during the 70's and 80's was their cotton poplin that yielded a perfectly weighted button down shirt with a crisp, casual feel. For an innovative take with a vintage vibe, we used organic cotton for this plain weave broadcloth to ensure a natural quality in a substantial and durable fabric that softens and wears beautifully with repeated wearing and washing. This exclusive-to-Division Road Organic Cotton Gingham is a large format navy check on an off-white field, pulled from the 1960's archive for an elevated adaptation of a time-honored pattern. Our modern short length button down collar comes replete with Gitman's original details like chalk buttons, locker loop, and a final horizontal button hole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the new modern slim fit with a slightly less dramatic hem sweep and straighter body, as a variation to the signature fit that remains the same tailored "just right" cut for most body types. We are unique in our offerings of Gitman Vintage by neck sizing for all you gents who are between alpha sizes; you now have the opportunity for a perfectly fitting Gitman right out of the box.
