Description

The Japanese Linen Chambray Button Down from Gitman Vintage is made from medium weight 100% linen fabric with thick yarns and a slight slub in the weave to create a pronounced texture and a depth of color. This material is woven in Japan using the same method as chambray with irregular blue and natural yarns that replicates an indigo dyed Draper loom styled fabric. To hallmark Gitman's 40th Anniversary, they have reinterpreted this fabric from their initial 1978 collection to produce a shirt with an innovative take on a vintage vibe. Replete with original details like chalk buttons, locker loop, and a final horizontal button hole in green thread, this signature slim fit with its tailored body and arms makes it a "just right" cut for most body types. Gitman Vintage shirts are classic, simple, original and have a casual sophistication that have made them a standard wardrobe piece for many a well-dressed man. We are unique in our offerings of Gitman Vintage by neck sizing for all you gents who are between alpha sizes; you now have the opportunity for a perfect-fitting Gitman right out of the box.
